2019 Senior Men’s Member Guest
GENERAL INFORMATION

 

1. FORMAT – All players must be 55 years or older to compete

45 Hole Aggregate Score within your flight.
Thursday- 9 hole Par 3 (Better Ball )
Friday ~ Better Ball (Front 9), Modified Alternate Shot ( Back 9)
Saturday ~ Captain’s Choice (Front 9) and Better Ball (Back 9).

2. FLIGHTING –

Flights have been determined by the combined Handicap Indexes of the
team and flighted accordingly.

3. HANDICAPS –

Better Ball : 90% of their course handicaps for the Better format.
Alternate Shot : 50% of the combined for the Alternate Shot format
Captain’s Choice: 35% of the A and 15% of the B for the Capt. Choice

4. FLIGHT WINNERS –

Flight winners are determined by the total net score earned by each team
after all formats (5) have been played.
**Scorecards must be signed and returned to the golf staff
upon the completion of each 9 holes.

5. SHOOTOUT –

There will be a shootout for all of the flight winners to determine the
overall Senior Champion. The shootout will take place on Saturday
after the final nine holes are completed. The format for the shootout
will be a net, three hole, alternate shot tournament with eliminations per
hole.

6. TIE BREAKERS –

In the event of a tie for the flight winner or runner-up, the winner will
be determined based on the score from the Alternate shot format. If that
results in a tie, the Better Ball format on the 2 nd day, then the Captains
Choice format, and finally the Better Ball format on the 1 st day will be
used.

If there is still a tie then we will compare cards based on the lowest
handicap holes using the alternate shot format. If this ends in a tie, a
chip off will be used to break the tie.

7. WEATHER SHORTENINGS –

In case of inclement weather, flight prizes will be awarded based on the
total holes completed. If play is suspended, you may not complete play
of the hole you are on. Please seek shelter immediately.

8. NO SHOWS, LATE STARTS, DROP OUTS, FORFEITS –

If one player drops out or is late for a match, his teammates may
complete the round playing his ball format permitting. If both players
are late, there will be a 2 shot penalty assessed for every hole missed
until the late team arrives.

9. PRIZES – Trophies will be awarded to the Winners of each flight.

10. FLIGHT BUY-IN – $150 per team. Daily format winners will be awarded the
buy-in money.
